Manual adjusting technique

Our Techniques

The techniques we use fall into manual adjusting or instrument adjusting of the spine.

We address full spine with particular attention to the cervical spine.

It should be noted that the primary goal of adjusting is to allow better adaptation of the central nerve system function to the environment. The technique is chosen that better achieves this.

Manual Adjusting techniques (by hand) include:

  • Diversified
  • Gonstead
  • Thompson

These are performed on Zenith™ pneumatic hi-low tables.

Instrument adjusting with Integrator ™ (hand held instrument) include:

  • Upper Cervical toggle recoil
  • Torque Release Technique™

These are considered low force, gentle techniques.

As a patient progresses, technique used may change as the corrections are more fine tuning in nature.

By the way, if this approach makes as much sense to you as it does to us, we’d like an opportunity to meet you and discuss your options in person. Call Albury Chiropractic today at (02) 6021 2088.
